As I promised, I have uploaded new pictures on the site...click here Joseph's 1st week. To return to this site, hit the back button. I have totally forgotten to take pictures of Alicia and Martin's new home. I will remember, just the excitement of a New baby took over. We have been busy, but it has all been very good! Praise God, He is good all the time!
Alicia and Joseph were released from the hospital on Wednesday. Joseph has had to have more blood work, because he's a little jaundice, and Alicia has been running on just a few hours of sleep. Otherwise both are doing well! Don and I went over yesterday, to help her and allow her to catch a little sleep. Hannah is loving "baby" very well, she is very gentle with him, and loves to give him kisses. Diana just wanted to hold him so bad, so I sat her with a pillow in the glider until he got a little fussy, and she was ready to hand him back.
Desiree' and Jason's closing has been postponed until the septic system is replaced, could be a few weeks from now. They are a bit disappointed, but glad they found the problem before they closed. The night before last, we did the ring test on Desi again, and it did a really weird thing....toward the left side of her belly it definitely swung in a pendulum style, back and forth in a straight line..which means boy. More toward the middle right, it started in the back and forth, then stopped, then swung in an ovalish circle, which means girl...so now we are wondering...could there be more than one? I had never seen such a thing, and we have done this many times already. We both just stared at each other, and went no......We shall see, she is due for an ultrasound around the 1st week in August.
Alex has been very laid back this last week. He is now 5'5" tall, so he towers all of us girls. He only has about 51/2" until he is as tall as Don! At the rate he's been growing it will be in under two years! His leadership class at the Tulsa Community College starts on 7/30, and he's looking forward to that. And 2 weeks later school will be starting. Wow...
We have had a full week with sunshine, and no rain....Our first week that it actually felt like summer. I think I've actually gotten a tad of color, but only during breaks at work.
We feel tremendously blessed, and so grateful to have family and friends to share in our excitement! Thankyou all for loving us! We love you too!
