Pray for our Nation and our Leaders

Yesterday, after talking at lunch with my girlfriends, it was heavily impressed upon me that we as citizens need to fervently pray for our Leaders & our Nation, those who hold current positions in our Government and those who will hold a position after the Nov. 4th election.

It was confirmed tonight.

I don’t just mean slip in a quick prayer…I mean we need to come together corporately….people with people, at work, at home, churches with churches…in cities all over the USA...and set aside time for deep seeking God prayer! We need God, we need guidance with the upcoming election, we need guidance with the plummeting stock market, failing banks, and the oil market holding us hostage. We are much like puppets in the hands of foreigners! The undercurrent has been set….and the war rages in the spiritual realm, and it is real.

There is an urgency…the time is Now. We are less than 4 weeks away from Election Day.
Pray that the Holy Spirit will lift the veil off our eyes, so we all can see clearly and know how to pray. Pray for direction and wisdom and knowledge. Pray for forgiveness for our sins. Pray for the Lord to intervene for us! Cry out for Mercy, to the only one who can save us, His name is Jesus!

Heal our Land O God!
Hear our cry,
In Jesus name I pray.
Amen

Talk with others you know, your pastor, your neighbors, your family; your co-workers… commit a time to pray together.
Register to vote now….In Oklahoma the deadline is Oct 10th. Our nation needs us to act now!

Persecuted Christians in Orissa, India

How to Help

Dear Team,

I have just spoken with Brown Naik on how we can best support our Christian brothers and sisters in Orissa at this time of extreme persecution. Of course, he says to pray, pray, pray. Also, however, there are financial needs for those who have been burned out of their homes and have fled to the jungles and other locations. Any financial gifts would be used for food and clothing for these displaced Christians.

Please make any checks out to "Union Center United Methodist Church" and place "India Project" in the memo line.
